1. Service Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to providing high-quality garage door repair, installation, and maintenance services. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 7 days of service completion.

  • We will evaluate the issue and, if warranted, return to make corrections at no additional charge
  • If the issue cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, we will discuss refund options
  • Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis

2. Cancellation Policy

Before Service Appointment

  • 24+ hours notice: Full refund of any deposit or prepayment, no cancellation fee
  • Less than 24 hours notice: $50 cancellation fee may apply
  • No-show: $75 fee may be charged for missed appointments without notice

After Service Started

  • If service has begun, payment for work completed and parts used is required
  • Unused parts may be returned for credit (subject to restocking fee)
  • Refunds for partial work are calculated based on time and materials used

3. Parts and Products

Manufacturer Warranties

All parts and products come with manufacturer warranties:

  • Garage door springs: Typically 1-5 years depending on cycle rating
  • Garage door openers: Typically 1-5 years depending on brand
  • Garage doors: Typically 1-10 years depending on material and brand
  • Other parts: Varies by manufacturer

Warranty claims are handled directly through the manufacturer. We will assist in facilitating warranty claims.

Defective Parts

  • If a part is defective within 90 days of installation, we will replace it at no charge
  • Labor for replacement of defective parts is covered within the warranty period
  • Customer must notify us of defect within 7 days of discovery

4. Labor Warranty

  • Repair services: 90-day labor warranty
  • New installations: 1-year labor warranty
  • Tune-ups and maintenance: 30-day warranty

Labor warranties cover defects in workmanship. They do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse or accidents
  • Damage from severe weather or natural disasters
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

5. Emergency Services

Emergency and after-hours services have special terms:

  • Emergency service fees are non-refundable once a technician is dispatched
  • Standard refund and warranty policies apply to the actual repair work
  • Emergency rates will be clearly communicated before dispatch

6. Deposits and Prepayments

  • Deposits for large projects (new door installations) are typically 50% of total cost
  • Deposits are refundable if cancelled 48+ hours before scheduled installation
  • Custom-ordered doors and parts are non-refundable once ordered
  • If we cancel or cannot complete the work, deposits are fully refundable

7. Refund Processing

When a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days
  • Check refunds: 10-14 business days
  • Cash refunds: Same day or next business day

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following are typically non-refundable:

  • Diagnostic fees (if work is declined after diagnosis)
  • Custom-ordered products and materials
  • Emergency service dispatch fees
  • Travel fees for remote locations
  • Completed work that meets industry standards

9. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or report an issue:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of service completion
  2. Provide your service order number and details of the issue
  3. Allow us to inspect the work and attempt to resolve the issue
  4. If unresolved, we will review your refund request
  5. Refund decisions are typically made within 3-5 business days

10. Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with our resolution:

  • Request to speak with a manager or owner
  • We will review your case and provide a final decision
  • If still unresolved, you may file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau
  • You retain all legal rights under applicable consumer protection laws

11. Weather-Related Delays

If weather prevents us from completing scheduled work:

  • We will reschedule at your earliest convenience
  • No cancellation fees apply for weather delays
  • Deposits remain valid for rescheduled appointments
